An APSOPRS Masterclass in

Dear Colleagues and Friends,

It is an honour for me to welcome participants of the 5th JEC International Meeting (JECIM) in Fairmont Hotel, Jakarta from April 25th to 26th, 2025.

Five years have passed since the last JECIM in 2020, and this meeting become utterly important for us, not only because this will be the first JECIM after COVID-19 pandemic, but also due to the immense advancement and development in ophthalmology in recent years. As our theme, Shaping the Future of Vision, we highlight current innovation and the latest technology invention in ophthalmology, one of which is the role of artificial intelligence.

The JECIM 2025 is planning an exciting and high standard scientific program, which will gather distinguished international faculty from around the world. The top specialists in ophthalmology will share their expertise and experience with doctors, clinicians, and researchers from the Asia-Pacific region and globally. 

In this meeting, we feature the myopia epidemic currently happening all over the world, especially in Asia, in myopia control care session. We also present hospital management topic, in which we invite keynote speakers in hospital industries from the region. I would like to thank INAEH (Indonesian Association of EYE Hospital / ARSAMI), Asian Association of Eye Hospitals (AAEH) and World Association of Eye Hospitals (WAEH) for the time, energy, and support in this meeting.

Expected participants for the JECIM 2025 will be around thousands delegates from all over the world, with guest speakers invited nationally and internationally. JECIM 2025 is designed to be a thorough platform; to share insights, innovation, and current pivotal clinical trials, in order to provide evidence-based knowledge and practices. All of these are ultimately to enhance the best management in ophthalmology fields. Also, this year, we provide various didactic course to enroll.

I highly appreciate the work of our team who endlessly put their best effort to ensure this meeting to go very well. And our deepest gratitude for the support of all delegates, industries, and speakers.

We have no doubt that The Biennial International Meeting JECIM 2025 will be a meaningful opportunity for all of us, to learn from each other about the newest knowledge in ophthalmology, and also to gain unforgettable memories of friendships.
